I used these pads for a year with my first child and am using them again while nursing my second. I have tried washable pads as well as Lansinoh disposable pads and in my opinion, Medela pads are the best. They are fairly thin yet provide excellent protection. I have been engorged in the AM after my baby sleeping through the night and although I leaked quite a bit, these pads held everything keeping me and my clothes dry. They keep wetness away from the breast but also have a lining to keep milk from leaking through to your bra and/or clothing. They are also completely unnoticable providing you wear a bra with some padding or structure to it. I highly recommend for nursing moms. |

I received a sample pack with my pump. Love the pump but not the pads. I had already been using the lansinoh pads and liked them but ran out so I used the free ones. They don’t stick well, and get bunchy by the end of the day. They were just not comfortable for during the day and nursing at night.

The Medela disposable breast pads are light weight, thin, comfortable, and holds allot of milk. I have used Johnson & Johnson, and Lansinoh and I hated how bulky and scratchy they were. As much as I pumped and fed my baby I was constantly full of milk and these pads were great. I had no problem leakage and comfort wise. The only con is that it’s adhesive doesn’t stick well so the pad doesn’t stay in place so you have to adjust it allot. Other than that it’s a great product.
