I have been using my Bamboobies Pads now for a couple of weeks and I really love how soft they are. I have not had the problem of cracked nipples thus far, so I do not know how they will feel, but I am assuming they will be quite comfortable. The heart shape is quite unique and innovative. It really does help the pad to shape to my breasts so that there are no bumps or lumps seen through my clothing, though sometimes I have to rearrange them a bit to work out any wrinkles. I have some other disposable pads and I can definitely see them more through the clothing and there is no “working out the wrinkles” with them.
I have found that these nursing pads do a great job in absorbing any leaking breast milk, keeping my clothes from showing wet spots and also keeping it away from my skin. These three layers are amazing.
The one thing I do like better about the disposable pads is that I can use the adhesive to get them to stay in place better than the Bamboobies. When I am trying to fix my clothing after nursing I have to temporarily pull my shirt down and head into the bathroom to rearrange the pad.
One other concern I have is concerning washing/drying the pads. The instructions say to not use fabric softener and to dry on low. Unfortunately the only low setting I have on my drier is a cold air fluff setting so it doesn’t do any good whatsoever. So I end up drying them in with the socks (I put them in my net sock bag so they don’t get lost) which get dried on high. And we use fabric softener sheets with all our laundry. I can’t see drying the nursing pads all by themselves. I am not sure why we are to wash and dry them the way the instructions state, though I assume it has to do with maintaining the softness and the absorbency. So, I will have to see how these nursing pads stand up to my method of cleaning them. I am hoping they don’t get ruined.
All in all, I am very pleased with the Bamboobies Nursing Pads, especially knowing I am helping the environment by not having a bunch of disposable nursing pads in my garbage. I would definitely recommend these to other nursing mothers.

These pads have many good qualities. They are soft, leakproof, very thin.
The bad qualities are the shape and the fact that they are SO thin(yes, this is good and bad). The problem I have with the shape surprised me. I thought it was a brilliant plan, I’m guessing the problem is because since I am a smaller lady(B cup size) the heart shape has to do lots of ‘cupping’ to get in place so there ends up being a crease along the v of the heart…not real discreet. While we’re talking about discreet…there are times that the thinness of these pads makes nursing nipples less than discreet. I can see how both of these issues are not a big deal for bigger chested ladies.
I have bought the Phillips lace-backed washable nursing pads (that are 6 for .99 on Amazon) and been happy with them…they are smaller and thicker, and even though they look very ‘disc-like’, I haven’t had any problems with them showing through clothes.

I am a B cup, the bamboobies stick out of my bra and scrunch up. Also they do not stay in the same place, they are always moving around. If they could fix these issues than they would be perfect.

    These pads are the fourth brand I’ve tried, after Lansinoh and Gerber Ultra-Thin (both disposables) and some washable cloth pads (I forget the brand), and in my experience these are the absolute best. Each type of pad I tried prior had pros and cons, but I have no complaint at all about the Johnson’s pads.
    I’m wearing them for both day and night, and even after wearing one set all night my bra, shirt, and skin were dry despite the pads being completely saturated. With the other brands, I regularly woke up with everything wet. Regarding daytime wear, I occasionally leaked around the Gerber pads and the cloth pads, as they were relatively small and also did not stay in place; the Lansinoh pads were larger in diameter and had adhesive to keep them in place, but I sometimes leaked through them. Neither of those situations has occurred with the Johnson’s pads.
    These pads have remained in place flawlessly, even without using the adhesive strip, and they are not noticeable under my clothing. They feel so completely comfortable that I am able to forget they are there. They can contain a much larger amount of moisture, and they are soft and perfectly shaped for me.
    The only thing I would change about the Johnson’s pads would be to have them individually wrapped like the Lansinoh pads, so that I can carry a spare set in my purse. In light of all the good things about this pad, though, that’s a very minor concern.

    The contour is great, and the absorbency is fine, but my complaint is the nipple shape, which you can see through your shirt. I try to not have visibly protruding nipples, which I didn’t have, so Johnson’s provided them for me.

    I am a first time Mom and had no clue what a sprinkler system I was going to end up with in my bra after having a baby. These nursing pads are wonderful! They come with just a little bit of adhesive on the back which keeps them in place and they keep your clothes completely dry. I never had any irritation from breast feeding and I think that part of that was due to the quality of these nursing pads.
