I have tried these inserts out a few times. I was surprised at how stiff the inserts are, the g diaper inserts are much softer and you can throw them in the toilet. Sadly these cannot go in the toilet. The idea behind these are that you can take these on vacations instead of disposables which is what I do instead of lugging smelly cloth diapers around. So I thought I would give this alternative a try. Because I have used the g diapers and have found them to be lacking I was hoping for something new. The disposables work and I didn’t have any leaks onto the baby’s clothes but if I had wanted to reuse the same diaper cover that wasn’t to be the case. Every time the disposable leaks onto Charlie Banana’s cover which would result in my having to wash it after every use, which defeats the purpose of not wanting to lug around smelly cloth diapers. |

The latest one available are very soft and topped with bamboo . I’ve tried them on many occasions now and they are Fab.

Hard as construction paper,

I was enthusiastic to receive the disposable inserts of the Charlie Banana 2 in 1 diaper system, especially after receiving my first actual diaper in the mail. The diaper itself was incredibly soft, and I immagined it being perfect for my baby’s delicate skin. My positive expereince with the diaper compelled me to make inaccurate assumptions about the inserts. They arrived today and I could not be more disappointed! They literally are as rough as a few sheets of construction paper adhered together. I would never allow these to touch my baby’s skin because I could immagine that they would leave it chafed and raw. I also poured a little water on one to test its absorption. The water simply pooled in the crease. I cannot even fathom how this would hold up on an explosive diaper day. I am definitely sending these back.
