This is my favorite out of many brands i have tried. Its kinda like a diaper as in it keeps the wetness away and absorbes more than expected.
I have tried…Medela- which didn’t absorb as much as i hoped, kept the skin damp and was loud (paper sounds). Is really thin though. Lansinoh- which was not bad probably 2nd choice but i liked the dryness the evenflo gave better. Johnsons-was small but very thick for major leaking, the fibers would stick to the skin. I used this along with a thin pad when i worked. because it was small i wanted a back up to cover the area as i moved around but because of the thickness i would not use for everyday. Nuk-I would not recommend. There is no edge around it like most others so if you leak the pad may absorb it but it can run right through to the bottom of the pad and on your clothes. The others with the edge will keep absorbing instead of letting it run out the bottom. this is not shaped to fit the curve of the mother either. cotton washable pad- It was thick, quiet and comfortable, but one letdown reflux went through the pad. Evenflo- Absorbes great while keeping skin from being soaking in milk. Has a good edge to prevent the pad from leaking, is not really loud and fits my shape well. Good luck! |

I bought this brand for the first time recently because it was lower in price than the other options available at my local store. I have been very happy with these nursing pads. They are fairly thin, but I have had no problem with leakage at all (and trust me, I have an ample milk supply to say the least!). I love that they are flat & don’t have a built in “nipple” – the last ones I got (Johnson’s brand) had a spot that looked like a nipple & I hated how they made me look like my nipples were poking out all the time! I also like that these do not have adhesive on the back. I don’t find the adhesive strips necessary & I have had no trouble at all with these slipping around. Another review states that it is hard to determine the back from the front & I do slightly agree with that, but I really have not found it too problematic. The side that faces your skin feels softer, so I have had to feel them each time to figure out what side to face toward me, but it’s not a big deal. These are wrapped in pairs, and though I would prefer there to be no wrapper, that wouldn’t deter me from purchasing these. I figure if the wrappers start to bug me, I can take 1 minute and unwrap all of them at once & just put them back in the box. Overall I say these are a great product at a great price!

I nurse exclusively, and though I don’t leak a lot, I wear the pads to avoid any wet clothing. That being said, these are terrible: they do not stay in place, they feel rough and make a plastic sound and become very bulky.Would not purchase them ever again!
